Application - UCM/ETH2 Comfort UCM with Ethernet Interface
UCM/ETH2 is the interface which is connected to the Local Area Network and is used for uploading and downloading programmed configurations to Comfort using the Comfigurator software (downloadable from Software). This also includes a RS232 interface selectable by jumper.
The UCM/ETH2 includes the IR Learner which is used to learn Infrared codes from any handheld remote control, for later transmission from any output connected to an IR Transmitter (IR01W). The IR Learner software is included in Comfigurator. To use the IR Learner, the RS232 interface is selected.
The UCM/ETH2 consists of a UCM06 and the ETH01 module
The AUD01 is another plug-in module which can be added to UCM06 or UCM/ETH2 to provide audio for third party software which emulates the keypad voice and microphone
The UCM/ETH2 includes an EEPROM IC containing the default configuration which can be transferred to Comfort or copied to another EEPROM on board the UCM
