The UCM/USB module provides a USB interface to Comfort. It has the same functionality as the UCM05 which has a serial (RS232) interface. The UCM/USB uses the same firmware as a UCM05. The UCM/USB consists of a daughter board (USB01) shown in the diagram attached to a UCM baseboard. A UCM05 with RS232 interface can be converted to UCM/USB by plugging in the USB01 daughterboard to the 10 way connector and setting the shunt J2 to the "485” position. This allows the selection of either a serial or USB interface. The USB01 is available as a separate part for purchase.
